This is the last thing that was on my ‘Must-Be-Finished-For-The-Trip-List’ – a warm, light cowl.

I had the yarn, a lovely soft discontinued merino and possibly alpaca in grey from Pear Tree that I bought at the Australian Sheep and Wool Show a couple of years ago.

I searched and searched my stitch dictionaries for something textured, kinda architectural and quick – there is not much time left.  I found something in one of the Harmony Guides and cast on very experimentally with a very rough gauge.

Here it is, a cowl in progress.
