It is the autumn school holidays again here… cubby building season.
This is one of the communal kid cubbies in our neighbourhood that our children regularly visit and work on with their friends.

How fun! When I first saw that I thought you meant ‘cubby’s’ as in a stack of boxes that kiddos keep their stuff stored in 🙂 Enjoy the holidays.
Oh those funny language differences! I guess you call cubbies, forts?
What fun! Do you give them blankets or bedsheets to make their cubbies into hideaway tents?
If they are building inside, they use sheets and blankets and tables and the whole lounge room! This park is a little far to take blankets but they usually cover the frame with leaves and line the ground with grass… Very comfy!
that’s so great – takes me back to my childhood and our community of kids!
